Bee Sips: Starbucks Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso Dupe (Nespresso Style)
If you’re anything like me, the Starbucks Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso has you in a chokehold. It’s creamy, just sweet enough, and gives serious cozy energy. But after a few too many $7 coffee runs, I decided it was time to recreate the magic at home.
This version uses my trusty Nespresso Chiaro pod, simple ingredients I always have around, and a quick shake in a mason jar to make it feel like a treat. It’s easy, it’s delicious, and honestly... I like it even better.
☕ What You’ll Need
How to Make It
Brew your Chiaro pod into a small cup.
In your shaker or mason jar, add the hot espresso, brown sugar, and syrup.
Add a handful of ice, then close the lid tightly.
Shake well for about 20 seconds — this chills the espresso, melts the sugar, and gives you that frothy top.
Pour everything (ice included) into your glass. Add more ice if needed!
Top with cold oatmilk and give it a gentle stir.
Sip and feel like a barista in your own kitchen.
🌼 Bee Well Tip
You can totally skip the syrup if you only have brown sugar. It still turns out rich and slightly sweet. And if you’re feeling fancy, a dash of cinnamon or a tiny pinch of salt on top makes it extra special.
It’s simple, satisfying, and just feels good. The little shake gives it a frothy finish, and the oatmilk makes it creamy without being heavy. I love making this before a workday or when I need a mid-morning mood boost.
