June’s Self-Care Sunday (Dog Edition): Spa Vibes & Pup Pampering

I know I’m biased… but I think June was born to live the spa life.

She’s a long-haired dachshund with a chocolate coat, soft tan markings, and the most calming energy I’ve ever known (on some days…other days she’s barky and crazy). Saturday evenings are our favorite — a little extra time to rest, reset, and reconnect. And yes, June has her own version of self-care.

Whether you’re a fellow dog mom or just love adding a little extra coziness to your weekend, here’s how we spend our Self-Care Saturdays — dog edition.

Our Self-Care Saturday

☕ Slow Mornings
We start with a gentle walk — the kind where we sniff every tree. Then we head home for tea (for me) and a little bacon treat for June.

🛁 Bathtime Bliss (Sometimes)
June doesn’t love baths… but when she needs one, I use:

🧴 Paw & Nose Balm
Her paws get dry, especially in winter. I use Snout Soother — it's all-natural and she doesn’t mind me applying it if I give her a belly rub after.

Why It Matters

June reminds me to slow down — even when business is busy, and especially when life feels loud. Taking 20 minutes to focus on her care resets my energy. And honestly? She’s the softest little reminder that rest is productive too.

Whether you’re creating a spa for humans or curling up with your dog and a good cup of tea… I hope this inspires you to lean into slow rituals that make you feel good.
